USW & WFP Bargaining Concludes With 4-Year Deal
Negotiations between the United Steelworkers and Western Forest
Products Inc. concluded in Nanaimo on Friday, July 23rd at
approximately 4:30pm after twenty-one days of collective bargaining.
USW Local 1-85 and USW Local 1-1937 members employed by Western
Forest Products lumber manufacturing and logging operations will vote
to ratify this agreement at a time and location determined by their
respective Local Unions.
